Abstract Background Many publications describe the advantages of creation ghost ileostomy (GI) to prevent need for formal covering in more than 80% carcinoma rectum patients. However, none papers describes exactly how ultimately remove GI these patients whom it doesn't maturation. Aim To and evaluate release down (GIRD) technique terms feasibility, complications, hospital stay, procedure time etc. with low anterior resection/ultra-low resection (LAR/uLAR) rectum.
